Jinni raised their first seed investment - 1M$ from Startup Factory. Jinni develops a personalized recommendation engine for movies and TV shows, and also allows users to "consume" the content via the TV or the computer (not sure what that means really).

Libox, a stealth "consumer-product" startup has raised over 1M$ from Evergreen, Partam and Eilon Tirosh.

SeeToo is now in limited beta. Techcrunch reports that they raised 1M$, with Yossi Vardi leading the round. SeeToo allows users to view a video together and chat.

Zitleman group has allocated around 20M$ to invest in Israeli startups, cooperating with Glenrock VC. They will invest in Round-A and later stages, but only about 100K$ in each company. They have already made several investments in Israel, and say they do no limit themselves to any field or company type.

Allofme will enable users to create a "life-album" from their photos, videos, text - and basically all their "digital" stuff. The album will show a "timeline" or journal with all the information.

Allofme, based in Tel-Aviv, has 8 employees, and plans to launch their beta soon. They will also start a new financing round.

EMB capital is a new fund (or really an angel club) that wants to invest in content companies (internet/cellular). They will invest in 3-4 companies a year, no more than 1M$ per company.

Yossi Vardi and Shlomo Nehama invests in Linqee, which will build a new web video application. Linqee was founded 9 months ago by Alon Hochberg, and has 5 employees. They say they have enough money and do not plan to raise any more.

AfterDox, a new group of 40 private investors has raised several million dollars and will invest in internet companies, IT and telecom. They want to invest several thousand dollars in each company, and to help the company raise a larger round

TripTouch announces its first investment from a group of private investors, lead by a leading high-tech angel investor.

TripTouch is a new Web travel company targeting a neglected segment: independent travellers during their trip.

Yossi Vardi makes another web 2.0 investment - in YouFig. YouFig is a new startup, apparantly in the user-generated-content market. They aim to penetrate the US market soon, and will require more investment
