The Financial Statements

Hi! My name is Igor.I'm doing now MBA in Taiwan. My question is related to the Financial statements of the Start-Up companies. Is it possible to see it ( like what we can do for the public companies). Also , my research is also related to the Start-Up comanies that have been closed during decline period :2002-2003. Is there any chance to see their financial statements ( cashe flow , balance sheet , etc) Please advise. Thanks!

Hi Igor,
Private companies don't publicise their financial statements. What you can do is:
Try to approach specific companies.
Try to approach VC's, maybe their be wiling to help, in certain terms (not to disclose names) for academic purposes.
Search the Web, there might be information in certain blogs.
