Checking the market.

Hi,
I have a great idea for a new net software that targets a specific part of the market - but a considerable part of it (especially since it has international potential). I've developed a simple sketch and tried it with some people around me and it is well accepted and utilized until now.
The question is, what is the best cost-effective way to test the relevant market and see if the demand is really there? How do I do it without compromising secrecy?
Thanks,
Yaniv
Checking the Market
Hi Yaniv,
This is a classical question any entrepreneur is confronted with.
At some stage you realize that if you want your idea to be implemented you must reveal it.
I think the first thing you can do is try to find domain experts/ consultants and consult with them.
Of course you could use NDA when needed.
Good luck.
Thanx for the answer...
Market Survey
I think that surveys are important but expensive, so my opinion is to start with consulting.
Try to find someone who knows the field well, and check that there's no conflict of interests.
