Yesterday we attended the iDrink#7 event - where internet entrepreneurs, investors and bloggers (and just people interested in that scene) can get together for a drink and chat.
It was quite a big event, with many people coming (they say around 400). Personally we met a few people and had a good time. It's good to look at the scene with two hats - both as StartupIsrael editors and TripTouch founders.
I'm not sure if a noisy bar is a good choice for such a location - perhaps a quiet time on the beach would have been better? but maybe the fact that you can't really speak and has to exchange business-cards has its advantages...
