Gemini invests 3M$ in WellSphere - an american healthy life style web site, founded by Israeli Ron Gutman. WellSphere works out of San Francisco, and employs 14 people.

Ron Gutman: well known Israeli entrepreneur or a fake?

If you've seen the postings on Techcrunch and elsewhere about Wellsphere, they seem really skeptical about Ron and Wellsphere. I'm wondering if there's anyone out there who knows about Ron's background in Israel? I'm from the US and don't speak Hebrew, so it's hard to look things up about him. He claims to have started 4-8 companies in Israel, depending on whom you talk to. He claims that he started: a restaurant, a Wine magazine, a Wine festival, among other things. Are any of these true? Can anyone verify? I'd love more information if you've got it: just send me an e-mail from on here.
