Delver laid off 5 employees (out of 25)
Submitted by ron on October 28, 2008 - 13:36Okay, it seems like the cuts are beginning. Delver has just laid-off 20% of their workforce (5 employees out of 25). Delver is into 'Social-Search'. They claim that this happened because of the low dollar (against the shekel) and not because of the world crisis, although that didn't help as well.
Yoomba laid-off 17 out of 23 employees in Israel

Modular Patterns got 100K$ from Yossi Vardi

Omniture Acquires Mercado

My Things raised 5M$

Wix raised 3.5M$
Submitted by startup on October 14, 2008 - 07:55Wix just announced a 3.5M$ funding round from Mangrove Venture Capital and Bessemer Ventures. Wix allows users to easily create flash-based web pages, and plans to charge a small monthly fee to give an ad-free version.
Oberon raised 20M$ to enter chinese market

eSnips to be sold to Logia?
