Vodafone Live! selects Tjat for web to mobile messaging
Submitted by ron on December 10, 2007 - 11:05Tjat, a specialist in seamless mobile messaging solutions, has today announced the launch on Vodafone Live! and a deal with Vodafone in the Czech Republic, to provide a hosted messaging portal that will enable mobile users with access to popular internet-based instant messaging, and in the future email, picture and video downloading, uploading and sharing on any device in real-time. After rigorous testing, Vodafone approved and endorsed Tjat's solution, enabling Tjat to approach any of the Vodafone group operators and partner companies within the Live Portal.
"Mobile Operators will see a dramatic increase in data traffic. Users gain instant access in their native language, on their existing handset and network," said Mr. Gideon Drori, CEO of Tjat.

Kenshoo has previously raised around a million dollar from private investors.

Knocka.tv launhces their alpha version

Knocka packages the content prior to broadcast with promos, branding, transitions, credits, etc. The participatory angle comes into play by having users determine the playlist and in the future actually take part in live shows."
Oridian got acquired by YBrant for around 20M$

SeeToo (chat-and-video), backed by Yossi Vardi is now in limited beta

US-based Zitleman group to invest 20M$ in Isareli startups

They will invest in Round-A and later stages, but only about 100K$ in each company. They have already made several investments in Israel, and say they do no limit themselves to any field or company type.
Yossi Vardi and Shlomo Nehama invests in Allofme

Allofme, based in Tel-Aviv, has 8 employees, and plans to launch their beta soon. They will also start a new financing round.
